In 2018-2020, Nicole has been leading the Wikimedia 2030 Movement Strategy that is set out to define how we can build this future and what changes are needed to democratise our institutions.
Before joining Wikimedia, Nicole has written her diploma thesis on Creative Commons licences and their advantages and risks for the management of Non-Governmental Organisations. She has been one of the first people in Germany to advocate for CC and loves sharing her passion with an international network of free and open knowledge enthusiasts.
