Let's open up the GLAM sector! Spreading knowledge about open collections
How can we spread knowledge about open licenses in cultural heritage institutions? What kind of resources are needed and how can we reach small, rural and volunteer-run GLAMs? The Swedish National Heritage Board took these questions up in the webinar series “Open GLAM now!” to explore the possibilities and challenges of open cultural heritage institutions. Larissa Borck, the series' producer, will present “Open GLAM now!” as an example for outreach and knowledge dissemination around open licenses. We will discuss open licenses as a facilitating factor for GLAMs to succeed in going open.

Beyond open licencing – creating a truly open digital repository
Wellcome Collection is committed to providing a free and unrestricted digital space. Through our digitisation strategy, we aim to digitise our collections under open licences. We take a risk-managed approach to copyright to increase access to modern materials. We release our code as OS software, employ open APIs and have a strong preference for using open source software from others. We are transparent what we do, seek feedback from users and peers, and show our work. Such an open approach is proving beneficial to us and our users, far outweighing the risks, as this paper will demonstrate.

Revivo Images: Ideas Pool
Presented last year as an idea, Revivo Images is launching its pilot. Revivo Images aims to connect creative minds in art and design world with the most on-demand imagery from across OpenGLAMs around the world. We invite participants to become co-creators of the platform by suggesting ideas to Ideal Pool. By reviewing the pilot and workflow, we will be looking at how to make the process of sourcing OpenGLAMs images for creators more diverse, more convenient, more supportive, more collaborative, more efficient, more inclusive, more participatory, and how to create new value for OpenGLAMs.

Creating an Ecosystem for Curating and Sharing Creative Commons Content: MHz Curationist Process Report and Roadmap
At the 2019 Global Summit, we launched a beta version of Curationist.org, a platform for curation of Creative Commons arts and culture content. This year, we propose a hybrid process and technical presentation. We will outline what we have learned over the past year from allied open communities and cultural organizations, and present our technical roadmap. Our goal is to be an Open Source ecosystem for curating and sharing global art and culture that is of, by, for, a more heterogeneous Internet. Please join us in building this, by providing feedback to our findings and our roadmap.

CC online course for GLAM institution in Indonesia
Open GLAM movement is something new in Indonesia. Many GLAM institutions even do not have any program of digitization. Collaboration and open access seems so hard since mostly the people work in GLAM institutions are not technology savvy enough and far from knowing about copyright. Learning from this case, there should be a socialization about open GLAM and copyright for GLAM institutions in Indonesia. Considering that Indonesia is a large country, it would need a big team and a long term visit to each institution. I propose a short online course about creative commons for GLAMs in Indonesia.

Public Domain Day international: Next steps
Public Domain Day events raise awareness around the need to safeguard access to cultural heritage by ever-increasing copyright protection. It also advocates and encourages creative reuse. Until recently these events were organised independently. Closer cooperation was discussed at the 2019 CC Summit. This year all the events that took place, from Venezuela to Ghana, were gathered on pdday.org. In this session we'll discuss how the new network’s value can go beyond visibility and communication. For example: digitally gather an artist's oeuvre that is spread globally as linked open data.
