Open Access to cultural heritage is becoming commonplace at an accelerating pace. Global collaboration, systems that talk to each other and advances in legal tools and legislation have precipitated this development. Not all cultural heritage is part of this kind of sharing. Under-resourced institutions lack technical resources, and some content needs to be protected from exploitation. We will see examples from across the spectrum, and organisations are invited to present the collections they share at the hackathon.
