As more and more educators around the globe adapt and create OER, particularly during the great shake-up happening in response to COVID-19, creators and adapters find themselves needing to push the boundaries of what kinds of remixes and derivative works they are able to use. Those of us doing this work often need to know how to handle situations with unusual license combinations or where CC licenses interact with the public domain or with works under all-rights-reserved copyright. This seminar will give useful ways of understanding such cases to give maximum flexibility in making OER.
