A land acknowledgement is typically tied closely to place and people - how can we pivot to reflect a global, virtual event? We'll explore ideas of colonialism, power dynamics, and consider our own biases as we work to create a land acknowledgement for use in virtual spaces.

Illustrator and graphic recorder Sonaksha Iyengar will be joining us to capture our words in an illustrated form.
