From conferences and summits, through Ted talks to an online encyclopedia, we tend to forget that if it comes to knowledge the medium is the message. Many of our practices unintentionally perpetuate colonial approach and make us follow what is entertaining and not necessarily important. How can we look beyond the immersion in what we come to expect from knowledge production and make room for the unknown?
