The era of globalization has presented many international opportunities. One of such is a global study, by which people can gain knowledge from afar, right where they are. There are now millions of online courses. However, when it has to do with study abroad, many people, especially in under-developed and developing countries still see themselves at disadvantaged ends, because they cannot afford to travel to western countries for education. This presentation will break these myths and suggest ways in which financially disadvantaged people can benefit from free or subsidized global education.
