How can we spread knowledge about open licenses in cultural heritage institutions? What kind of resources are needed and how can we reach small, rural and volunteer-run GLAMs? The Swedish National Heritage Board took these questions up in the webinar series “Open GLAM now!” to explore the possibilities and challenges of open cultural heritage institutions. Larissa Borck, the series' producer, will present “Open GLAM now!” as an example for outreach and knowledge dissemination around open licenses. We will discuss open licenses as a facilitating factor for GLAMs to succeed in going open.
