Open GLAM movement is something new in Indonesia. Many GLAM institutions even do not have any program of digitization. Collaboration and open access seems so hard since mostly the people work in GLAM institutions are not technology savvy enough and far from knowing about copyright. Learning from this case, there should be a socialization about open GLAM and copyright for GLAM institutions in Indonesia. Considering that Indonesia is a large country, it would need a big team and a long term visit to each institution. I propose a short online course about creative commons for GLAMs in Indonesia.
