Declaration on Open Access for Cultural Heritage: towards a standard and equitable definition of Open Access for GLAMs

At last year’s CC Summit, we explored paths toward a revised set of principles around “Open GLAM”. This year, we will present developments on this, outline a revised approach to Open GLAM (tentatively called the “Declaration on Open Access for Cultural Heritage”), and discuss its wider implications. This session will provide historical background and context for the Declaration, as well as a detailed account of our estimated timelines, plans for communities outreach, and how we plan to incorporate feedback into the final Declaration.
